A recent gathering in Madrid brought together faith communities, cultural voices and social actors to reflect on the World Day for Cultural Diversity. The meeting included Clarisa Nieva of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, Fernando Hernández of the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, and human rights educator Denise González. Speakers offered eu newsroom reflections from faith, culture and public service on how mutual knowledge can help build more inclusive communities.

In the discussion, participants explored themes such as human rights, cultural identity and respect for differences. Fundación Mejora connected the initiative with Scientology’s interest in education, prevention and civic responsibility. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, noted that cultural and religious diversity can become a strength when accompanied by mutual understanding and responsibility.
